Dasseti Joins Nasdaq: A Major Achievement for Wissem Souissi

Dasseti Joins Nasdaq

Less than three years after Wissem Souissi was selected as an Endeavor Entrepreneur, the founder of Dasseti has reached a major milestone he and his team spent seven years working hard toward: an acquisition by one of the most prominent names in global capital markets. On July 23, 2026, Nasdaq announced it had entered into an agreement to acquire Dasseti, the AI-powered due diligence and monitoring platform founded in 2019.

Dasseti was built to help institutional investors and investment managers meet the rigorous demands of data collection, exchange, analysis, reporting, and compliance across the entire investment lifecycle. With teams in New York, London, Dubai, Hong Kong, and Sydney, the company landed hundreds of clients across 25 countries, with many of them among the top banks, pensions, sovereign wealth funds, and asset management firms, and continued to grow rapidly. Since 2022, Dasseti has repeatedly won Private Equity Wire’s awards across the US and Europe and was named Investor Relations Technology of the Year in 2025.

Wissem knew the problem firsthand

Born and raised in Tunisia before moving to France, Wissem Souissi brought more than twenty years of professional experience to Dasseti, including seventeen years in financial technology. A graduate of École Nationale d’Ingénieurs de Tunis and École Nationale Supérieure d’Arts et Métiers in Paris, he spent his career at firms including Moody’s Analytics, eFront (BlackRock), and eVestment (Nasdaq) before launching Dasseti in 2019 to solve a problem he had seen up close: the manual, slow, and error-prone processes involved in collecting and distributing operational and investment-related fund data.

That firsthand experience shaped Dasseti’s approach to the market. The company built AI-powered workflows around due diligence, RFPs, data collection, and ongoing monitoring; areas that had traditionally relied heavily on spreadsheets, PDFs, emails, and other fragmented processes.

This strong market traction was a key part of what attracted Nasdaq. Dasseti’s solution will be further integrated into Nasdaq eVestment, a platform Wissem knows well from his years working there before founding Dasseti. eVestment connects roughly 4,800 asset managers with more than 1,000 asset owners and intermediaries across 109 countries, representing more than $90 trillion in assets under management.

In Wissem’s words, joining Nasdaq offers the chance to bring Dasseti’s capabilities to a far wider institutional network, accelerate its investment in AI, and deliver greater value to the asset owners, consultants, and asset managers it serves.

The relationship with Nasdaq was not entirely new. Nasdaq Ventures invested in Dasseti at an early stage in 2022, giving the two companies several years of exposure to each other before the acquisition.

Scaling Dasseti and leveraging Endeavor

One of the first areas where Wissem drew on Endeavor’s guidance was his AI roadmap. Endeavor helped him brainstorm around that roadmap and, just as importantly, lean initially into the pool of engineering talent in Tunis to launch its execution.

As Dasseti grew, with a team spread across four continents, so did the need to reinforce alignment around a shared set of company values. Wissem tapped into the Endeavor network for guidance on people and culture to hold that global footprint together and maintain the cohesion essential to a high-performing organization.

Since joining Endeavor, and while based in Dubai, Wissem has reconnected with the Tunisian innovation scene, and this milestone may be just the beginning, unlocking new opportunities both globally and at home.
